Tina Lang, supermodel and weretiger, wonders if there's more to life than pretty clothes and flashing cameras. While she ponders retirement, she and her assistant, Annie Rodriguez, are kidnapped and brought to Charles Colter, a man with money in hand and revenge in his heart. Tina is taken away for study, joining the dozen weres Colter has already captured. Forcing her fear aside, Tina immediately begins working on a way out.

Hired by Colter to kidnap Lang, Justin Drake has a bad feeling about his assignment, and to his surprise, some emerging feelings for his target. Plagued by regret over his role in the kidnapping, Drake hatches a plan to free Lang, Rodriguez and the other weres, along with Micah Sullivan, a witch. Warily, Tina accepts his help.

Once away from Colter, the hunt begins to find out who's really in charge, and personal issues that had been kept at bay come to the surface. Tina struggles with her feelings for Drake, wondering how she could possibly be attracted to the man who kidnapped her. Drake makes no secret of his feelings for her, and hopes he can make up for his actions.

The two work together to uncover the mystery of who is behind the kidnappings, along the way battling threats, were pack rivalries, and the unexpected consequences of magic.

A follow-up to Exiled and Young Blood, All Too Human continues an exploration of a world shared by weres, witches, vampires and humans, and the relationships forged by some of its inhabitants.
